So you’re thinking about coming along – brilliant. Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive.
Who We Are
NIPS is a gay social group founded in Dublin in 2016. We’re naturists, yes – but first and foremost we’re a community. Events are social in nature and entirely nonsexual. Think of it like any other night out with a friendly crowd, just with a rather more relaxed dress code. Everyone who attends is expected to respect that ethos, and we take it seriously.
Who Can Come
Anyone who identifies as a gay/bi man is welcome(don’t worry, there is no test), whether you’re a lifelong naturist or someone who’s never tried this before. There’s no ideal body, no experience required, and absolutely no judgement. Curiosity is enough of a reason to show up.
What Happens at an Event
Events are held in friendly, private venues around Dublin. Once you arrive and check in, you’ll receive two drinks vouchers included as part of your admission – so your first couple of drinks are sorted. From there, it’s simply a matter of getting comfortable, getting chatting, and enjoying the company.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Most people find that any nerves disappear within the first few minutes.
What to Bring
- A bag for your clothes — you’ll need somewhere to put them once you get settled, so a tote bag or small backpack works perfectly.
- Footwear
- Your drinks vouchers are included in admission, but you’re welcome to purchase more at the bar.
A Few Things to Know
- Events are strictly nonsexual. Any behaviour that makes others uncomfortable will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave.
- We’re a non-profit group — admission fees cover the cost of the venue and vouchers, nothing more.
- Details of upcoming events, including venues, are shared via our WhatsApp community group and Google Calendar. Head to the Events page to get connected.
Still Have Questions?
Feel free to reach out via our Contact page — there’s no such thing as a silly question, and we’d rather you ask than not show up.
